Graduate Profile and Research Development

Graduates of this program are expected to demonstrate competencies in managing, leading, and advancing research activities that embody innovation and contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of engineering technology, systems, and agro-industrial management. These competencies are directed towards fostering national development and enhancing societal welfare. Furthermore, graduates are equipped to deepen and broaden their scientific expertise through research and scholarly communication by employing multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary approaches within the domains of engineering technology, management, and agro-industrial systems. Another key competency includes the capacity to comprehensively integrate and advance science and technology in formulating solutions to complex problems, thereby reinforcing agro-industrial systems at national, regional, and global levels.

Research Development

Within the Doctoral Program (S-3) of the Department of Agricultural Industrial Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, various research funding opportunities are available through competitive proposal submissions, including:

  • Universitas Gadjah Mada Final Project Recognition Grant;
  • Faculty of Agricultural Technology Innovative Grant;
  • Universitas Gadjah Mada Academic Excellence Grant;
  • as well as other research grants in collaboration with academic advisors.

In addition to research funding opportunities, the Doctoral Program of the Department of Agricultural Industrial Technology also provides financial support for participation in international conferences.
